Who is responsible
The Place's, a brand of Servicios Veterinarios SpA, Los Pioneros 12 D, Chicureo, Colina, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile. Contact for personal data matters: contacto@theplaces.cl.
What we collect and why
Only what you give us when you get in touch: your name, phone, email and your dog's details (name, breed, age, vaccines, stay dates and anything else you choose to share). We use it only to answer your inquiry and to arrange the first meeting, stays, relocations and veterinary care.
The website form
When you send the form, two things happen: your details travel encrypted and arrive as an email in The Place's inbox, and WhatsApp opens on your device with the same message, which you decide whether to send. Nothing is stored in a website database or used for advertising. The email goes through Cloudflare and the inbox is on Gmail (Google); both may process data outside Chile under their own safeguards. If you send the WhatsApp message, WhatsApp's own terms also apply.
Cookies and trackers
This site uses no cookies or advertising pixels. To know how many people visit, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free measurement that doesn't identify you or follow you across sites. Fonts and videos are served from our own site.
How long we keep it
For as long as we work with you and your dog, and then for the time needed to meet legal obligations, such as veterinary medical records. After that, it's deleted.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or hand over your data. We only share it when the service you asked for requires it, for example with an airline or the health authority during a relocation, and always with your knowledge.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, objection or portability of your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to contacto@theplaces.cl. We'll reply within the deadlines set by Chile's Law 21.719 on personal data protection.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll publish the new version on this page with its date.
